We took a trip this past weekend to Ooltewah, Tennessee to visit the Smith Perry Berries pumpkin patch (didn't realize pumpkins are berries!). Coming from Florida, our last trip to a pumpkin patch was more of a flower garden with imported pumpkins. It was an amazing experience to be able to go to a farm and pull our pumpkins straight off of a vine. It was a whole event with food trucks and a kid zone with a bounce area and slide, as well as a hay ride through the sunflower field and past the cow pasture. We got a normal orange jack-o-lantern style pumpkin for us to carve, I got a cute pastel one, mal picked a small white one, and Chris chose a 'warty goblin'! I can't wait to make this an annual fall family tradition!
