Our first time at DragonCon in Atlanta, Georgia!

We were expecting more of a Megacon vibe since we'd been to that one a few times in Orlando, Florida, but this was our first time at Dragon Con in Atlanta! It was surprising how different it was. Instead of being in a convention center with booths, it was spread between five different hotels.

Although we didn't find the Artist Alley, the Celebrity Walk of Fame was awesome! You are so much closer to everyone and can even spot celebs walking the halls.

We sat in on the Jodie Whittaker and Catherine Tate panels and the Star Wars Costume contest. Everything was so well put together. We even watched robot battles and met some droids (Wall-E being a favorite)! Although we had met the droids and Wall-E before, Mal was slightly braver this time.

For our costumes: Chris sewed my Blue Fairy from Pinocchio dress and I made the sparkly wings, Mal helped to sew and iron patches on his rocker vest, and Chris sewed a Gleeman's cloak from Wheel of Time.
