Upcycling our old china hutch for our new YouTube background.

When filming our previous YouTube videos, we did not have an official "set" for our talking heads. Most of them are shot in my art room in front of an old china hutch that used to be our pantry at our old house in Florida, but now in Chattanooga, it serves as my art and craft supply cabinet.

It felt like time to redo it to make it look more professional. I repainted it and added some lighting; although, we ended up not using the lighting because it washes out the best part.

I painted the glass using mostly acrylic paint to, at first, look like stained glass, but then changed my mind and started to blend and add more details. The Hogwarts castle is front and center, a hobbit hole is off to the left, and above is an x-wing, the Millennium Falcon, and the Death Star. I loved doing the splatter paint effect for the galaxies, but it didn't show up as well on camera as I thought it would.
